DOROTHY GLYNN DOLLINS JONES STAPLES SEGOOL
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed. Orlando native, 1925, born to the late John William and Annie Myrtle Jones. Attended Orlando High School, member of Sorosis, REOS, REALM and United Methodist Church of Orlando. Retired from UCF.
Predeceased by her husband, James E. Staples. Survived by husband, David L. Segool. Daughters, Jane Newton, Barbara Sanborn, Patricia McNabb; son-in-law, Dr. Stephen Newton and Arthur Durocher; step-children, Randi and Ed Cramer, Helene and Richard Segool; grandchildren, John Newton, Megan Naile, Troy Newton, Wendi Sanborn, Tiffani Morgan, Kristen McNabb, Donna Wolff, Jessica Cramer and Lindsay Segool; five great-grandchildren; beloved nieces and nephew.
Memorial service, November 22, 2005 at 2PM, First United Methodist Church of Downtown, 142 E. Jackson Street, Orlando, Florida, 407-849- 6080. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Orange County.

Dorothy “Dotty” Jones was very active in clubs while a high school student at Orlando Senior High School. The 1943 yearbook shows she was a member of the Cheerleaders 1941-1943 (Captain 1942-1943), Pep Club 1941-1942 (President 1942), Chorus 1943, Secretary Junior Class, Yowell-Drew Day 1941-1942, Seminoles 1942-1943 (Treasurer 1943) and Office club 1942.
