See it’s a portable radio and you could dial it and call anywhere you wanted to in the world and it was a portable radio that was mounted usually in a jeep… A portable phone… now we just think that everybody walks around with a portable radio in their hand. But that was the first one… Gronnell,Roy Gronnell [the poster artist]. Martin had a team of illustrators who drew rockets and missiles and things like that. The main thing was to draw missiles. And they were some of the best illustrators in the country….
